As the name suggest, this is Alex Walker’s first camp, with large tents along the side of the hill looking over the Mara River towards the escarpment. The design is more traditional, it’s unpretentious and family-friendly. Sightings are good, you get a private vehicle, and because you’re in the conservancy, walking and night drives are allowed.
